Japan is the main source for used vehicles. Japanese vehicles dominate the automobile market by offering the most reliable and convenient cars at reasonable prices. If one is in the market for a used vehicle, the obvious place to go to is a Japanese used car market. Almost all countries across the world import used vehicles from Japan. Like other African countries, the new car market of Uganda is not very vast, as prices for new vehicles are very high. The price gap between a new car and used ones is very big. There is a difference of around 50% between these vehicles. Ugandans prefer to buy second-hand vehicles (mainly from Japan) as they get the chance to select any vehicle of their desire at really affordable prices. There is a clear inclination of people of the country towards used vehicles from Japan.
